Legacy Gifts

There are multiple ways that you or your loved one can give a gift to help ensure that EUCC’s mission and ministries are carried out for generations to come.

If you wish to to give a memorial gift in a loved one’s memory, there are envelopes available at funeral homes and services for congregation members. Alternatively, you can mail your contribution directly to the church office.

For information on planned legacy gifts, see below.

Planned Gifts

Planned gifts enable individuals to support EUCC even after their lifetime. It is a great way to create a meaningful legacy and help for generations to come.

There are several ways to structure your planned gift:

  • A bequest in your Will (no minimum)

  • A Charitable Gift Annuity (gift of $10,000+)

  • A Charitable Remainder Trust (gift of $50,000+)

  • Outright gifts of life insurance, an IRA, real estate or appreciated assets (no minimum)

Did you know that currently, tax law allows you to give a gift directly to the church from your IRA that is tax free?  In other words, if you have your IRA pay directly to the church, and it does not pass through your hands, you do not pay tax on it.
